UPCOMING PROJECTS AND HEARTS & STARS!
It's been a long time since we've updated, but here's the latest. We recently entered the WashU 48 Hour Film Competition and won first place with our film Hearts & Stars. A page for this film will be up shortly. Another screening of the latest films will be coming up at the end of April or early May. Included is a fairy-tale comedy The Egg Man and I directed by Alexandra Jensen, a sci-fi drama Simulacrum directed by Robert Panico, and a musical about a university film department directed by Jim Wolfe Jr., FMS The Musical. LONG TIME NO UPDATE!
The A Dark Knight Out screening on Dec. 8th went spectacularly well with a huge crowd showing up and an extremely positive reception! Everybody involved in Scorpius Productions and the new collaboration team "Do It Live! Productions" have ben extremely busy with school work and the holidays in general. But, over the next month or so, we are promising a new website format as well as DVDs to buy and more updates to the site. In the mean time, check out the new pics from the Dark Knight Out Double Feature Screening and watch the sweded trailers that played in between Jurassic Park Sweded and A Dark Knight Out!

FIRST SKY PIRATES! PIECE RELEASED!
Here is the first bit of music composed for KWUR Theater of the Air's Sky Pirates! In this clip, Robert Panico impovised his theme with violinist Ruth Howe creating a relaxed/semi-tragic version of the "Feathered Beagle" theme.

EXCLUSIVE A DARK KNIGHT OUT PHOTOS!!
Alexandra Jensen, Robert Panico and Jim Wolfe are yet again at another ambitious project. A Dark Knight Out is a parody of the uber-popular The Dark Knight in which all the main characters meet up for dinner at a fancy restaurant.
Project is currently In Production, but some stills and behind the scenes photos have been released!

RADIO SHOW "THE DENNIS NEDRY POWER HOUR" ONLINE!
Alexandra Jensen, Robert Panico and Jim Wolfe have an unofficial radio show during KWUR 90.3 FM Clayton's open mic hours.
They will be broadcasting films scores, songs heard in films, and musicals over the air waves while keeping you entertained with film reviews, prank calls, and "celebrity" guest appearances (including Jimmy Staurt, "Daniel Plainview", Marlon Brando, and "The Joker")
When we know more about our air time, we will post the shcedule on here.
In the mean time, we will be working on a live webcam feed for the show as well as an audio-only stream.

The director's cut of our 2nd place winner for this year's WUTV 48 Hour Film Festival is now online! After the production team loved this atmosphere and characters so much, a series is now in the works. This film entry has now becom a pilot for an action thriller series!

2ND PLACE FOR WEAPON OF CHOICE
Scorpius Productions won another 2nd place at WUTV's 48 Hour Film Festival. The thriller Weapon of Choice will be relaesed on YouTube soon as a "Director's Cut" version as Robert requested. The only changes made will be the adding of deleted scenes, a voice-over and a cleaner edit of visuals and sound. Stay tuned!

TWO BIG NEWS ITEMS
The 2nd Annual WUTV 48 Hour Film Festival is a go for this year and Scorpius Productions is entering it again. Wish us luck as we compete to create a film in under 48 hours!
Also, WUTV approved of a sitcom created by Robert Panico which will star his friends and is a mockumentary about college life. Planned to run only 3 episodes, the shooting will begin this weekend. Updates and episode postings to follow!
