SYNOPSIS: Iraq 2003. Chase Hunter, a combat journalist for an aspiring news station is sent to Samarra to
interview a platoon of soldiers. Arriving to the base ignorant at first, he eventually befriends every soldier. After
they are ordered to clear out a potentially hostile area, Chase is captured and he must rely on the instincts of the
platoon to save him.
PRODUCTION NOTES: This was one of Scorpius Productions' most difficult productions. An incredibly rough start
delayed filming time. This was also so far the most costly production, for numerous weapons, props, uniforms and helmets
were required. Location shooting also became an issue, despite them being the most effective locations found for a
Scorpius film. The personal schedules of the actors were the biggest issues and the producton eventually came to a close.
The scenes that were managed to be filmed and edited are available below with scene descriptions.
CLIPS:
Opening Scene - The film opens with credits and an insurgent praying.
Chase's Rescue - Chase has been held captive and the troop has moved in on the insuregents to rescue Chase.
NOTE: This scene is fragmented and the missing parts are captioned.
Battle Sequence Part I - Shortly after Chase's rescue, the group of soldiers runs into a large group of hidden
insurgents. The battle begins here.
Battle Sequence Part II - A minute or so after Battle Sequence Part I, the soldiers find themselves in trouble.
While they hold out for Bravo company to arrive, thigns get more dangerous.
