SYNOPSIS: In the dark depths of Gotham City, Batman and Joker are...on a date?! Meeting up with Harvey Dent, Rachel Dawes, and others from the original film, Batman must keep the Joker at bay while enjoying his meal. However, within the restaurant, chaos ensues and Batman must become whatever the restaurant needs him to be. It's a Dark Knight out...

PRODUCTION NOTES: This was a double feature screened alongside the first place competition winner Jurassic Park Sweded and included sweded trailers for Ghostbusters, Juno, Rear Window, A Clockwork Orange, There Will Be Blood, Alien, and The Bourne Ultimatum. Jurassic Park took 5 stright days to make and was challenging to match the look, costumes, and effects of the film. Luckily, because this was a Swede rather than a Parody, the special effects and other detailing were meant to look cheap.
It took the crew 5 days within 2 months to complete the shooting for the Dark Knight Out feature. It required weeks of prep time including Robert putting together the screen-accurate Joker costume, securing a restaurant-like location, and finalizing the script. After a last-minute DVD burn, the film was screened for a large audience at Washington University in St. Louis and was met with an overwhelmingly positive reaction.
